Garde Hvalsøe
Garde Hvalsøe showroom in Copehagen, is a hommage to what their craft and design can do. And by creating various areas where we have created different feelings, with how it the material selection and with strong references to other parts of the world.
One area has strong inspiration from how southern europeans set up their kitchen, which is less minimal, and will have cooking gear on display. And for this kitchen the materials is also bolder, and more contrasting.
One kitchen is an interpretation of a classic country kitchen, that is open, and uses open shelving together with light treated ash, and natural sand stone table top and back splash.
The natural hues of the materials, creates a calm area, together with the weathered brass fauset and sink.
Part of the Garde Hvalsøe offering is wardrope furniture, so a natural way of showcasing this is by creating a bedroom.
One reference is how a New York appartment layout, would be, where you would sometime see a wardrope combined with a vanity desk and mirror.
The natural stone and the lightly brushed surface, becomes a soft and inviting area to get ready at the beginning of your day.
