Pillar dining
The design for the pillar series was inspired by classic scandinavian woodworking, using joinery with dowels and a construction that supports itself, and developed and produced locally in USA.
The cantilevered design for the seat, levitates over the leg frame, creates a structure that fortifies each other.
The curve of the backrest is made by steambending the wood and milling out the corners and roundover.
The pillar chair is a versatile design, and the upholstered seat, makes it comfortable enough to be used i a home office environment.
The vertical direction of the legs, creates a repeating pattern when standing next to each other.
