The Platou collection is first of all inspired by the brutatist architect movement, where the elements of the designs where broken into large geometric elements, but in this case the elements are soft and adds to the enclosed athmosphere when sitting in the sofa.

Seeing the Platou series in an interiour setting it shows it contemporary feel. With its geometric main elements, it plays well into an environment that uses abstract elements.
Even though the series has a volumous feel, the smaller details is an important part of the compositions. Down to the petite solid wood legs, that creates a slight lift to the main body.

Platou armrest are designed to be a heavy set element that creates a border towards the everyday life, that visually grounds the structure in the space and on the ground. The solid inserted part on the armrest, creates a surface to temporary rest your drink or phone
