The Platou collection was initially concived as a sectional sofa system, that would be based on the softness of the sofa design, but making it possible to expand and configure the design in any way possible.
The classic soft horseshoe confirguration, shows how the Platou collection creates a soft "interior" with a solid endpiece that defines the armrests as a barrier and places it firmly into the space.
The armrest in the sectional version of the Platou series, makes it apparent, that it both makes for a comfortable place to rest against, but also gives you the possibility to place small items on the wooden insert.
The Platou collection is produces to order, and with the various lenghts and the angle elements, it is possible to create almost any composition and size.
Platou armrest are designed to be a heavy set element that creates a border towards the everyday life, that visually grounds the structure in the space and on the ground. The solid inserted part on the armrest, creates a surface to temporary rest your drink or phone
